Investment in a 3000 Tonne Test Machine

We have recently invested in a 3000 Tonne Test machine at Durham Lifting to increase our testing capacity. With this new equipment, we have successfully conducted a lift trunnion test with a proof load of 2125 tonnes. In addition, we provided the design for the fabrication required for the test and supplied all the tools and equipment necessary to support our new testing capabilities.
The new investment at our facility in the northeast means that we now have the capabilities of carrying out a wide range of testing up to 3000 tonnes proof load with bespoke designs and fabrication made to suit the specific equipment to be tested. Combined with our full fabrication capabilities to EN 1090 Exec. Class 3, we can manufacture the required test fabrication in house supported by our technical department’s capabilities in designing to any required standards.
