The 3000Te Vertical Test Bed is a modular high-capacity system that can be configured around the geometry and connection points of the item being tested. It supports controlled tensile and compression testing without treating the two loading modes as the same capacity.
Existing Durham Lifting applications include link plates, slings, chains, delta plates, sheaves, trunnions and other large engineered components. Where a standard connection is not suitable, bespoke holding tools and specialist fixtures can be designed around the test requirement.

The facility is suited to substantial components and assemblies where controlled vertical loading, engineered interfaces or a bespoke connection arrangement are required.
